The Syrasoft Connect MobileManager® offers users the ability to transfer tenants from one unit to another and handles all aspects of rental rate changes, prorating and relevant fees without requiring a trip to the office.
To begin your transfer find the self storage unit in question and tap the Transfer button highlighted here.
After tapping the Transfer icon you will be given a list of unit types with available units. The Unit Types page will also let you know how much more or less the tenant will be paying every month should they transfer to that particular unit type.
Tap the desired unit type to continue.
The Unit Transfer page will spell out what, if any, new deposits are required, what the old fees were and what the new fees will be. All the math involved in transferring a tenant from one unit to another mid-billing cycle is handled right there.
Swipe down to select any of the available units of this type then tap Transfer to continue.
If a charge has been incurred during the transfer process the MobileManager® will give you an option to make your payment here. Tap Yes to make the payment or No to let the balance remain on the tenants account. They can always pay online or phone in a payment at a later date.
